Professional Profile:
In 2005, Sal Sciandra joined SK Tech Group as General Manager for the Pittston branch. In this capacity, Sal is responsible for the daily management of Sales, Service, and Support for Customers and Employees of the Pittston office.
When Sal joined SK Tech Group in 2005, he brought tremendous experience from his quickly evolved career within AMD. As a Field Sales Engineer based out of Chicago, he was responsible for managing several independent engineering agencies throughout the Midwest and directly managed multi-million dollar consumer electronics accounts throughout the Central Region of the US. This position required Sal to manage a team of over 30 design engineers, as well as handle the strenuous demands of being a field consultant for a billion dollar semiconductor Company. In a short time with AMD, Sal had attained a very high level of success in terms of both responsibility and corporate achievement. However, in 2005 Sal was ready to return home to his family in Pittston, PA and was also eager to help launch the new family business - SK Tech Group. Soon after joining the company, Sal was able to leverage his corporate experience and consumer-focused application of technology directly into the use within the dental community. Sal has helped to design and implement many of the standards and processes currently practiced by SK Tech Group today, and continues to help grow the outward experience of the company to our clients.
When Sal is not working, you will usually find him at home in Laflin, PA. He spends as much of his free time parenting, cooking, and enjoying time with his wife, Barbara.
